BELOW GROUND GATE AUTOMATION
Where possible, below ground automation systems are ideal for those wanting to keep the back of the gate free from any visible arms. Box type units are fitted underground with a pivot point and bracket attached to the bottom of the gate. The image shows an underground system on a hardwood driveway gate. As you can see, we had to fabricate a bracket to connect the two together. Wrought Iron (or metal framed) gates are manufactured in a way to accommodate the underground system.

ABOVE GROUND GATE AUTOMATION
Electric Gates - Sliding automation systems. Through experience in supplying and installing sliding systems, we now recommend one kit to cover all needs, the BFT Ares 1000.
24 V sliding gates operator for intensive use, up to 1000 Kg in weight. Leaf speed up to 9 m/min. Magnetic limit switch and control board with U-link protocol embedded. BFT 24V technology ensures optimum performance with a precise adjustment of slowdown in closing and opening. Safety is another key aspect, ensuring the immediate stopping and reversal of movement in the presence of obstacles. The efficiency of the technology is a guarantee of the product's reliability.

Electric Gates - Above ground automation systems. Depending on gate material, we recommend the following automated kits.
For Hardwood gates and Metal/ Wrought Iron gates, the FAAC 415L. Electromechanical system, powerful enough to open and close gates in the windiest of conditions with a max width of 4m per leaf (8m total).
For our heaviest gate range, Metal Framed Timber Infill gates, the BFT LUX FB 2C (230v) is most suitable. Hydraulic system with auto lock capable of moving gate leaf weight of up to 300kg.

INTERCOM SYSTEMS
There's a huge range of different intercom systems on the market with bundles of features for you to choose from. However, for most customers, as long as the system looks good and has standard functionality, this is usually enough. Therefore, we recommend two systems - both wireless which saves on installation costs.
First the Daitem SC902AU. Non video system, perfect for single residential use. Sleek aluminium finish, 400m range and wireless handset.
Second, our video intercom model, the AES Predator. Stainless steel with black acrylic front trim. Modern looking with the advantage seeing who is outside.
