About our Hardwood Driveway Gates:
Our hardwood driveway gates are expertly crafted in the UK using the finest, hand selected Iroko. Each gate is lovingly constructed using time served techniques such as mortise, tenon and dowel joints for ultimate durability and style. As not all driveway gate entrances are the same, our gate widths range from 6ft (3ft per side) to 20ft (10ft) per side and every millimetre in between!
About Iroko Hardwood:
Also known as African Teak, Iroko is a large hardwood tree that originates from the West coast of Africa. Widely used, both outdoors and in canals due to it's stability and durability thanks to it's high 673kg/m3 density level. Aesthetically pleasing, deep rich natural tones that add's a unique character to anything constructed from Iroko.
Finish:
We believe the best finish is simply the gate to be oiled. This way, the beauty of the timber with it's deep natural tones really does look stunning. For those who want to compliment the gate to there property, any RAL colour can be ordered.
